Every year, the Benissanó City Council organizes during the first or second weekend of February, the “Castell week” where different acts and events of a cultural and recreational nature are held around such a majestic construction to celebrate the acquisition of the Castle under its ownership of municipal, specifically on February 4, 1996.

Among many of the events that have been organized to date we can find the setting up of a Medieval Market, a “gastro” festival with food trucks and live performances or, different historical representations both inside and outside the Castle linked to characters and events historical that were important in the history of Benissanó and its Castle.
